Research supervision

In the laboratory, I have supervised and mentored eight high-school students, fourteen undergraduates and research assistants, six master’s and two PhD students.

The contributions of my trainees have been acknowledged in peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and eight are co-authors in my first- or last-author publications and this enabled students to gain prestigious positions in academia, medicine and industry.

I aim to continue training future leaders by creating positive lab learning environments that foster career development and duly acknowledge scientific contributions.
